Desert Rose Bride opened its doors in October 2022, but it had been in the works for much longer – over 30 years, in fact. When our owner Laurel, got married in 1990 She had a dream wedding dress in her mind. It had a high neck with long sleeves and a removable ruffle train, and that’s exactly what she got – not because she found her dream dress in a bridal boutique, but because she made it herself.
After having such a hard time finding a dress that met all of her specifications she knew she needed to open a bridal store. Laurel sold a modest collection of gowns out of her own home. When her basement couldn’t hold another dress she opened her first bridal boutique in Draper, Utah called The Bride Room. After having hundreds of brides come all the way from St. George to find their dream dress we knew we had to bring the magic here to our beautiful desert brides!

From her own experience, Laurel knew that brides have their own unique stories and want to express them with their own unique gowns. As we have grown in the industry we have partnered with designers who specialize in customizations, especially in how to make gowns modest to make sure they meet your specific needs.
Today we are bringing our couture and glamorous experience to St. George to make sure that every bride gets her dream experience of saying “Yes!” To her own unique gown.
